Spectators are also coming to the stadium in large numbers to support the players of their respective countries. Meanwhile, on the 9th day of the Commonwealth, a horrific accident was witnessed. In fact, a speaker fell from the ceiling during the ongoing freestyle wrestling match between India’s Deepak Punia and New Zealand’s Matthew Oxen Ham at the Coventry Arena.
In fact, in the first session of the match only five matches were played when a speaker, used to relay the announcement, fell to a mat speaker. The organizers then asked the fans who came to watch the match to vacate the arena. After the accident, it was decided to start the session again at 12:45. Responding to his tweet, another Twitter user wrote, apparently some parts fell from the roof and hit an employee. The match is now unable to start till 1.45 pm.
Meanwhile, United World Wrestling, while sharing information from its Twitter account, said, the wrestling match will start for an hour. The match will be started at 12.15 pm as per the local time. We apologize to the fans for the disruption in the match.

Let us tell you that even before this, another accident has happened on the third day of Commonwealth. In fact, in the 15 km scratch cycling event of the event, cyclists from England and Canada left the cycling track and entered the spectator area due to deteriorating balance. Due to which a stampede broke out in a part of the stadium. However, no spectators were hurt in the incident. The rest of the cyclists had to be taken to the hospital due to injuries.
