Akshay Kumar admits his mistake behind films not running, says ‘Change is needed’

CuttPutlli Trailer Lauch: The trailer of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘KuttPutlli’ has been released on Saturday 20 August. The filmmakers organized a mega trailer launch event in Mumbai on Saturday, in which the trailer of Puppet was released. During this, Rakul Preet Singh, Sargun Mehta, Chandrachur Singh and Jackky Bhagnani were also seen sharing the stage with Akshay Kumar. Here Akshay Kumar also reacted to the failure of his last few films.

During the launch event, Akshay Kumar said that, it is his fault that his last few films are not performing well. Talking about the failure of films, Akshay said – ‘It is my fault that the films are not performing properly.’ At the same time, he also said that- ‘He needs to make some changes and understand what the audience wants to see.’

Talking about his last few films, Akshay Kumar says- ‘Films are not working, it is our fault, my fault. I need to make changes. It is to understand what the audience wants. No one else can be blamed for this. Let me tell you, the last three films of the actor could not do much wonders at the box office. Even his recent release film ‘Raksha Bandhan’ had to face the boycott trend on social media.

During a media interaction, when Akshay Kumar was asked whether he is bringing his projects on OTT due to the failure of films at the box office. In response, Akshay said- ‘It is not safe, it is necessary to tell people whether they are liking the trailer or not. Nothing is safe. People are watching it even on OTT. The media is watching, the critics are watching, the most important audience is watching it. So there is nothing like creating a safe space. You have to work hard.
