The All India Senior Selection Committee has named Washington Sundar in place of Deepak Chahar for the remaining ODI series against South Africa. Chahar had a stiff back after the third and final T20I against South Africa in Indore and was not included in India’s playing XI in the first ODI in Lucknow. According to the BCCI, the Indian all-rounder will now go back to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru and will be monitored by the medical team there.
