In this report, it was informed, quoting sources, that Aamir was demanding Rs 150 crore from Netflix in exchange for the OTT rights of ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, as well as his condition that ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ should be released in theaters. Netflix was ready to give so many crores
According to the report, this deal of Aamir was not approved by Netflix and he was ready to pay 80 to 90 crores instead. At the same time, he said that the stream timing should also be reduced to less than 6 months. Although Aamir was not accepting these conditions, then finally he agreed to deal for 125 crores, but even on this amount, Netflix refused to do this deal.
Netflix ready to give 50 crores
However, now Netflix is not even ready to give 80 to 90 crores to ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. According to the report, seeing the poor performance of the film at the box office, Netflix said to give only 50 crores, but the deal could not be done on this amount, after which Netflix backed out from the deal.
