BWF World Championships: India’s young badminton player Lakshya Sen has reached the pre-quarterfinals of the World Championship by defeating Spain’s Luis Penaver in straight games. Commonwealth Games champion Lakshya Sen registered a 21.17, 21.10 win in 72 minutes.
Ninth-seeded Sen made a spectacular comeback after going down 3.4 at one point to take a lead of 13.7 with six points. He continued this rhythm and won the first game. Lakshya Sen had earlier recently won the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games I also had a great performance.
