Olympic champion javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, who withdrew from the Commonwealth Games due to injury, will participate in the Lausanne Diamond League on August 26 only if he is “fit on medical grounds”. Athletics Federation of India President Adile Sumariwala said this.
Chopra’s name appears in the list of contestants for the tournament to be held on August 26. “He will play only if he is fit on medical grounds,” Sumariwala told PTI.
