Bollywood Boycott Trend: These days boycott trend is going on regarding Bollywood. Many artists have given their feedback on this. Due to the boycott, the business of films is being affected. Now veteran actor Pankaj Tripathi has reacted to Boycott Trent. Recently, several big budget films including Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Raksha Bandhan’ did not get a good response at the box office. Pankaj talked to Siddharth Kannan on the non-running of films and the boycott culture.
Siddharth Kannan asked Pankaj Tripathi why films are not playing in the post-Corona epidemic era? To this Pankaj said, “There is a need for self-evaluation about what we are making and how we are making it. It is also necessary and that is the shortcoming.” After this Pankaj put his stand on the boycott trend.
Pankaj Tripathi said, “If a film is bad, it does not play and it is not boycotted. People do not go to cinema halls. This too is boycott, isn’t it? Then no one runs a social media campaign, and no one uses hashtags, but the film still doesn’t play. But yes, self-evaluation is needed. It has to be resolved.”
