U Mumba vs Puneri Paltan: In the 71st match of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), U Mumba secured a close 34-33 win against Puneri Paltan. Mumba won the match in the last raid. Guman Singh got 13 points for Mumba and played an important role in his team’s victory. Mohit Goyat took 10 raids and three tackle points for Puneri, but could not avoid the defeat of his team.
The game of both the teams was very slow in the first half.
Both the teams decided to play defensive from the beginning and showed confidence in their defense. Do or die raids were seen from the third minute itself and the raiders of both the teams were struggling. The game was very slow in the first nine minutes with both the teams scoring only eight points together. In the 11th minute, Guman Singh made a super raid and sent Puneri close to all out, but the lone player Mohit Goyat saved his team from being all out. The very next minute, Mohit again saved his team from collapsing by raiding two points and then combined with Nabibakhsh to make a brilliant super tackle.
With two minutes left in the first half, Mumba finally got Puneri all out and took a 15-13 lead in the match. By the end of the half, both the teams were tied at 15-15. The raiders of both the teams had scored nine points each. Guman Singh took seven raid points for Mumba, while Mohit Goyat and Aslam Inamdar got four points each for Puneri.

In the second half too, the game was very slow, but in the 11th minute, Puneri took a 25-19 lead by all outing Mumba. This was the first time in the entire match that a team had a lead of five or more points. With four minutes left in the match, Mumba sent Puneri close to all out, but Pankaj Mohite, the lone player, saved his team. With less than three minutes remaining, Puneri was all out and the score was level at 30-30. In the final raid, Mumba got a point in Do or Die and won the match.
