Serena Williams Reaction On Retirement From Professional Tennis

Serena Williams on Retirement: Former number-1 tennis player Serena Williams has made it clear that she has not retired from professional tennis. She has also indicated that soon she will return to the court. After the US Open last month, it was expected that Serena would never be seen on the tennis court again.

Serena Williams said during a press conference in San Francisco, ‘I have not retired. The chances of my return are very high. You can come to my house. I have a tennis court in my house. Serena is not currently preparing for any other tournament after the US Open. On this, she said, ‘For the first time in my life it is happening that I am not playing for any tournament. It sounds very strange too but let me tell you that I have not thought anything about retirement till now.

Signs were given to say goodbye to tennis in August
In early August 2022, Serena had indicated to retire from tennis. She had said that she is keeping distance from tennis. In such a situation, the US Open 2022 was being considered as the last tournament of his career. She reached the third round in this Grand Slam. When she lost to Ajla Tomlijnovic of Australia here, the way she bid farewell to the court, it was understood that her career as a player was over.
