Shubman Gill Records: India’s young batsman Shubman Gill scored a brilliant 130 runs in the third match of the ODI series against Zimbabwe. Gill scored his first international century in his 9th ODI. He has also played 11 Test matches for India before this. He hit 15 fours and a six in his brilliant innings of 97 balls. After this innings, Gill has also broken a special record of master blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
In fact, Gill has now recorded the highest score by a batsman in an ODI against Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe. Before him, this record was recorded in the name of Sachin Tendulkar, who scored 127 runs in 1998. But now Shubman Gill broke this record after 24 years and played a strong innings of 130 runs. Joins the club of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul
After scoring a scintillating century in the third ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare, Shubman Gill has joined the special club of series stand-in captain KL Rahul and regular skipper Rohit Sharma. Let us tell you that this was the first century of Gill’s international career which he scored in Zimbabwe. Earlier, Rohit and Rahul had also done this in Zimbabwe itself. Rohit scored the first international century of his career in 2010 and Rahul in 2016 in Zimbabwe.
