Bollywood is going through a bad phase these days. Big budget films are not working at the box office and many stars have even spoken of ‘thinking’ about their failure. These days ‘Boycott Trend’ is also making a lot of headlines regarding many Hindi films. In such a situation, actress Swara Bhaskar has talked about some such reasons, due to which these situations have arisen in Bollywood. The actress has said that the death of Sushant Singh Rajput has put a bad image of the industry in front of people. At the same time, Swara Bhaskar said that this is the same situation as happened with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Let us inform that films like Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Dobaara’ had to face ‘boycott’ on Twitter and these films have proved to be very cold at the box office as well. In such a situation, in a recent interview, Swara agreed with director Anurag Kashyap and said that there is an atmosphere of recession in the country at this time and people do not have money for luxury things like watching movies. Taking this matter further, Swara said that it is not that because of Bollywood, the audience is not coming to the cinema halls.
Swara also compared the situation in Bollywood with that of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi that everyone started calling him ‘Pappu’. The actress said, ‘Everyone started calling him Pappu, so gradually people started believing in it. While I have met him and he is a very smart person. Similar ‘Pappukaran’ has been done for Bollywood as well.
At the same time, the actress has said in this interview that there is also a reason that after the tragic death of Sushant, a black picture of Bollywood has been prepared in front of the people. ‘People think Bollywood is a place where there is only alcohol, drugs and sex.’
