T20 World Cup, IND vs PAK: There are only two days left in the Indo-Pak (IND vs PAK) clash in the T20 World Cup 2022. Both the teams will face-off on October 23 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) at 1.30 pm. This will be the seventh match between India and Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. First match: The first meeting between the two teams in the T20 World Cup was held on 14 September 2007. In the first T20 World Cup, India and Pakistan were placed in the same group. In this group stage match, the Indian team had scored only 141 runs while batting first, in response, the Pakistan team was also able to score 141 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Thus the match was tied. The result of the match was determined by ball out. While Indian bowlers had blown the stumps continuously, none of the Pakistani bowlers could throw the ball on the stumps. India won the match by winning the ball out by 3-0.
Second match: In the final match of the first T20 World Cup, India and Pakistan once again faced each other. This match was played on 24 September 2007. In this breath-taking match, India won in the last over. Batting first, India had scored 157 runs. In reply, Pakistan’s team was all out for 152 runs in the last over.
Third match: In T20 World 2012, on 30 September, Indo-Pak teams clashed in the Super-8 round. In this match, the entire Pakistan team was all out for just 128 runs. In reply, the Indian team easily achieved the target by losing just 2 wickets. In this match, Virat Kohli scored 78 runs in 61 balls.
Fourth match: The same plight of Pakistan happened in the match held on March 21 in the T20 World Cup 2014. Pakistan team could score only 130 runs in front of India. Here too, India easily achieved the target by losing just 3 wickets.
Fifth match: On 19 March 2016, the fifth match of the T20 World Cup between India and Pakistan took place. In this rain-affected match, Pakistan team scored 118 runs in 18 overs. In response, the Indian team also lost 3 wickets for 23 runs at one time. From here, Virat Kohli played a brilliant innings of 55 runs in 37 balls and gave his team a 6-wicket victory.
Sixth Match: In the last T20 World Cup, on 24 October 2021, both the teams once again clashed in the group stage.
