Fans’ demand for inclusion of Umran Malik is not being fulfilled
The Indian team was out of the semi-finals from the T20 World Cup held in Australia this month. After this many veterans said that the team needed an express bowler. Bowlers like Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh looked ineffective due to lack of swing in the semi-final against England. Although Umran Malik was given a place in the squad for the tour of New Zealand, he was not given a place in the playing XI in any match of the T20 series.
Umran did not get chance in New Zealand T20 series
The first T20 International in Wellington was washed out due to rain. The entire match was played at Mount Maunganui but Umran was not fielded. The express bowler was also dropped from the playing XI in the third and final match of the series at Napier. Medium pacer Bhuvneshwar and Arshdeep remained part of the team in all these matches.
Seeing this situation, the fans were furious after seeing the congratulatory message of BCCI on Twitter. He expressed his feelings in this way.
